Maryann Weber, founding Director of Pender Regift Thrift Store, received a Master's Certificate in nonprofit management from George Mason University in 2012. Prior to this, she founded Diana's Books, a nonprofit dedicated to sending books internationally to those in need.

In her first career, Maryann was a software programmer and tester, with a degree in mathematics from Virginia Tech. These skills are useful at the store... Maryann does the website development and the accounting.

Our Mission is to make Disciples for Jesus by demonstrating ways of Knowing, Showing, Growing, Loving and Serving GOD.

We do this through our example of stewardship by receiving, collecting and processing donated items and making them available by word and deed to those in need locally, nationally and internationally.
Our Mission
In the early 70s, Pender United Methodist Church reached out to its neighbors by collecting and distributing furniture, household goods, and clothing to those in need. The Outreach Center was built and expanded. As the decades passed, we grew even more. In 2011, the decision was made to search and obtain an offsite warehouse. The Pender Regift Thrift Store was opened on May 25, 2012.
